Rumor: are J1 waiver going to stop ?

There is a rumor that the J1 visa waiver program might be shut down. I do not know who started this rumor, but currently there is actually a shortage of physicians, and this will get much worse in the future. So probably this program may be changed, but I doubt it will be shut down permanently.
