Extended medical residency work hours and the risk of accidents

A new study published in the NEJM entitled "Extended Work Shifts and the Risk of Motor Vehicle Crashes among Interns" reveals that medical residents that work extended shifts have a 16% higher risk of suffering a motor vehicle accident.
